No openings
right now
We are a small team and we are not hiring today. Rather than keep a permanent "send us your CV" page that goes nowhere, here is the honest position and what to do if you want to be first to know.
Nothing open at the moment
When a role does open it will be listed here with the salary range, the actual work, and who you would be working with. Not "competitive compensation" and a list of buzzwords.
Ask us to keep you in mindHow we hire, when we do
- A real conversation first Thirty minutes on what you have built and what you want to build next. No screening quiz before a human has spoken to you.
- Work on something real A paid, time-boxed piece of actual work, or a walk through code you already own. We do not ask for free labour and we do not do whiteboard algorithm theatre.
- Meet whoever you would work with On a small team that is everyone. You should get to interrogate us as much as the reverse.
- A written offer with the number in it Range disclosed up front, not negotiated out of you at the end.
What we look for
People who go and read the code before forming an opinion about it. Most of what we work on is rules — pricing, refunds, settlement — and those are won by reading carefully, not by typing quickly.
A bias towards shipping the whole path rather than the interesting half. A booking that cannot be paid for, invoiced and settled is not a feature, it is a demo.
Comfort with being wrong in public. We would far rather someone say "I checked and I was wrong about that" than defend a position to the end of a sprint.
What we cannot offer
A large team to hide in, a deep specialism to stay inside, or much structure. We are early. If you need those things, and plenty of good engineers do, we would be a frustrating place to work.
